As the full title indicates, this is the fourth book in the Elite Guardians series. I would highly recommend you begin with the first book. Although this is published by Revell, and listed under Christian Fiction, there isn’t anything to deter other faiths from reading and enjoying this book. It’s clean and contains no fade-to-black. It’s also high octane excitement throughout the series! Perfect for YA readers looking for something that can capture and keep the readers attention. The characters are well-developed and true to their personalities. Eason takes enough time to provide the backstory for the characters without slowing down the pace too much. Overall, this is an enjoyable read, as were the other books in the series, and of the expected quality coming from Eason. I received an ARC through Revell in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
