Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I had some reservations when this book came up for review. Fantasy is my preferred genre and I tend to be a bit picky with fantasy reads. Thankfully, this one ended up being both intriguing and well-written. While a tad bit slow on the start the read gradually develops into an enjoyable experience. The fantasy elements are well developed. The characters are nicely fleshed out. I enjoyed the plot and felt the flow, once it got going, continued on at a good pace. Overall this was an enjoyable read and one I am thrilled to have been able to enjoy. I received an ARC through the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
P.S. I really do love the coloring going on over here, Jen 🙂

Some of the best books I’ve read have had “slow” starts, typically setting up all you need to know for the rest of it to have impact. I love fantasy, too 🙂 Wish I could read more of it!
