This was a DNF for me and my fellow bookworms. It started out very dry and bounced around, never improving. The characters felt dry and flat with nothing to make them stand out or connect with the reader. The curse didn’t feel like it fit. Overall it read like a very rough draft. We each gave this a try but we all ended up not wanting to read it. We received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
