Always Watching by Lynette Eason

Having read previous books by Eason I expected this one to deliver a top notch read. Thankfully I was not left disappointed by any means. The story starts out with a good pace and easily draws the reader in and manages to keep the hooks throughout the book. The characters come across as real people, fleshed out with quirks and flaws. For a suspense book there is a requirement of enough forward movement and action that is both believable and fits the plot and the characters. Eason is able to deliver a near perfect blend of suspense while drawing out the result with great timing and flow. Whether you figure out who it is, or you guess incorrectly, you’ll enjoy the reveal.
