Luther and KatharinaLuther and Katharina by Jody Hedlund
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Setting aside the inaccuracies surrounding Martin Luther and the relationship he had with Katharina… this is a well written engaging book. If you are Lutheran or familiar with Martin Luther and his life you’ll have to either avoid this read or set aside what you know and just enjoy this version. There are some historical aspects that are well researched and come across well so it’s not a complete loss. Taken as just a historical romance with the fight against the tyrannical Roman Catholic Church of the time, this is accurate and very well presented. The read is entertaining and flows nicely. I’m quite happy to finally have a book written with Martin Luther and his struggles. I received an ARC through Penguin Random House LLC in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
