Carlson brings a touching story that will remain in your heart long after the read is done. I can see this being a book to return to when an uplifting touching story is just what the Book Dr. ordered. The writing is very well done and the characters are nicely fleshed out. Melody Carlson is one of those authors you know you can read because it’s always clean and wonderfully written. I love the interaction between Miranda and Joy. I felt a connection with Miranda and her situation. The overall feeling from reading this book is a warmth in my heart and a smile on my face. I received an ARC through Revell publishing in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
