Freedom's ChildFreedom’s Child by Jax Miller
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Read and Reviewed by Charlie since it was a DNF by me. This one ended up partially read then tossed to the side several times before it was finally read in full. The characters are standard run-of-the-mill types. The plot is a touch outside the boundaries of reality but still swallow-able if you are able to suspend a large chunk of belief. The more you read into the book the less thrilling it feels and the more you want to read something else. I felt I was in a stubborn streak and wanted to finish this book, else it ended up tossed in the donation bin unread. Looking back I likely should have just listed it as unread and moved on. However, I’ll bet there are those who just love this book and think it’s fantastic. That’s all good and fine. I’d be worried if everyone felt the same way about a book. A copy of the book was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
