The Little Paris BookshopThe Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I have a feeling that this will be one of those books you either love or hate with very few readers landing somewhere in the middle. I don’t love it. It has an abundance of cliché’s and eye-rolling moments. The characters are too literal to be accepted as is. There were several moments I seriously considered putting it down and labeling it a DNF. I’d set it down but that cover was so alluring I figured it had to get better. It never did. I don’t hate it though. It is well edited and reads easily enough. Structure wise it’s a good example. The idea behind the plot is intriguing and the title is excellent for a romance. Overall the book lands in the mediocre pile just barely squeaking in enough to keep three stars. I received an ARC through Blogging For Books in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
