For me this book was extremely slow to read. The first few pages were ok and well written but it just kept getting slower and slower as it went on. That’s fine and great for some readers, just not me. The writing is good, the characters are good and the plot is, well, it’s good but it’s so very slow to get through it. I can picture someone reading this at the beach while the kids play in the surf or at the pool while the kids splash around. There’s nothing terribly wrong with the book, it’s just a very slowly paced read. If you enjoy that and you like romances then you’ll likely love this book. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
