Cote writes with such depth and emotional understanding with this second book in the Quaker Brides series. The historical aspect feels authentic and well researched. Cote brings every moment to life with well described scenes and characters that are well fleshed out and have depth and flaws. It’s easy to become drawn into this story and enjoy it the whole way through. The plot is intriguing and has very good pacing. Overall this is an excellent read and one I can easily recommend. I received an ARC through the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
