Well written fictional account of one boy’s experience when the Magna Carta was signed. The prose is flowing and easy to read and understand. I love the colorful art on each page. The story is short with just a bit on each page making it a good choice for finicky readers and younger budding readers. I read this out loud with my son (10) who says it’s a good interesting story and one he would give two thumbs up. My only fuss is in the back with the question/answer section about why the Magna Carta is important to Americans. This is just my fuss since I studied American History. I would suggest teaching our children the facts about our History. Anyway, overall the book is wonderful and we really enjoyed our read. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
