The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It’s rare I feel a book is worth all five stars. Hannah writes not just intelligently but with emotion that envelopes the reader and tugs at the heart as well as the mind. The Nightingale is a moving story you won’t soon forget. With a certain eloquence the stories are told that will have you reaching for the tissue box more than once. The characters are rich, layered and well developed, as if they are family you know so well. Hannah hooks the reader on page one and never lets go. Be prepared to spend the better part of day reading. I received an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
This sounds like a good one. I want to feel when I read a book 🙂
