Sternbergh displays a nice set of skills in writing an exciting thriller set in a dystopian world. The first pages draw the reader in quickly and set the stage for an amazing read through the entire book. The characters are well fleshed out, especially the main voice in the book. Although this is the second novel with the same main character, I didn’t feel lost having not read the first novel. I would however, recommend you pick up the first one as I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as this one. This has been a fun read, one I won’t soon forget.
