Footsteps in the Sky by Greg Keyes

I really like fantasy and I really like science fiction, so I was really excited to read Keyes’ book. I can’t put my finger on it, but something just did not click. The writing is excellent and intelligently written. I love how the reader is not spoon-fed every little bit of information. The whole idea for the plot is interesting and is part of why I read the book in the first place, even though it’s not original or game changing. I like the way Keyes manipulates the story and uses characters we might not select originally. I believe most readers of this genre will enjoy this book so go ahead and pick up a copy.
