Dead Heat (Alpha & Omega, #4)Dead Heat by Patricia Briggs

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First, if you have not read the first three books stop right now and go get them and read them then get this book and sit down for a read-a-thon. I say that because once you start this series you’ll not want to do anything else. It was tempting to call in sick to work but since I absolutely love my job the temptation was minor and fleeting, although I was quite happy to get back to reading at the end of the day. The books are very well written with gripping passages that make you almost rush through the pages to find out what is going to happen. Each character feels like they belong in the story and are well fleshed out and layered. This is important as it makes the book that much better overall. The plot threads are very well threaded. I can easily recommend this book as Briggs has once again managed to create something intriguing and very enjoyable to read. I received an e-ARC through the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This in NO way influenced my opinion.
