Alora by Megan Linski
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Very fun read from the start even though the middle lagged a bit, which I can see the reasoning behind. I love the characters and how well they are fleshed out and developed. The plot is interesting and the twists make perfect sense and are handled quite well. The writing is very well done and well edited. Linski clearly has a great grasp of language and its usage. About the only drawback is there isn’t a lot of fear to be had with the protagonist for a good portion of the book. Granted, there is reason for this as well and it doesn’t take too much away from the book as a whole. Overall this is a very enjoyable read and well worth the time. I received an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
With ‘which I can see the reasoning behind’ do you mean that it is part of the story?

The way the author handled providing information, is what I mean. It was designed this way. There are other ways to incorporate the necessary information however this method works well for this story.
