This is a well written and well rounded historical fiction romance. I really enjoy the way the characters are easy to connect with and feel well fleshed out. The historical aspect feels well researched and authentic. The flow of the story is smooth with no sluggishness. Word choice is important and well handled in this book. This is the second book and I would recommend reading the first prior to this one. Every aspect of this book is top notch and well worth the read.
