First Impression (Shadow Maven #1)First Impression by Pauline Creeden
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a well written book with an interesting premiss. While it starts a touch slow, that’s necessary to create the world the main character lives in and to give the reader much needed backstory and information. Once it gets going the read is fast paced and a real page turner. The characters have depth and feel realistic for the most part. It’s a YA so expect the easily-in-love main female. Overall this is a fun easy read and a good start to a promising series. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Book loving single mother to a wonderful special needs child who fills my life with adventures, excitement, love and innocence.

  1. Ah, I’m reading a book which is slow to get me to really care, but I was told it’s SO good so I’m thinking it’s going to kick up pretty soon 🙂 Thanks for the review, Jenn 🙂
