This book is very well written with excellently painted prose and rich vibrant descriptions of a city and the people who live there. I found the characters to be a nice variety, well fleshed out and unique. The plot, while interesting enough to read, is both unique and slow in pace. This is a thought provoking book while at the same time I found myself feeling like part of me has fallen asleep. I would consider this as a relaxing read, easy on the mind while still being entertaining. It’s a good book by a tried and true author. I received an evaluation copy in exchange for my unbiased honest opinion.
