Intelligently written with a good editing job as well. I love the premis for the story and feel it was handled quite well. The world building and research into this is done very well. The characters are well fleshed out and have well thought out flaws and layers. The dialogue feels realistic adding to the overal feel of the book. I enjoyed reading this book and plan to read the rest in the series. I would recommend this to all fantasy readers. I received an evaluation copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion.
