This book is well worth the read even with the minor issues. With a bit more work and editing it’s easily a four star book and perhaps a five star. The writing is good. The characters are each unique with personalities and flaws befitting them. The plot is interesting enough to keep the reader engaged even through the slow parts. Certain scenes felt unpolished or roughly edited. Overall there’s potential for a solid fantasy and I would still recommend this to fantasy fans as is. I’m looking forward to seeing how this author develops and would defiantly read future releases. I received an evaluation copy from the author in exchange for an honest opinion and review.
