Dare to Love Again (The Heart of San Francisco, #2)Dare to Love Again by Julie Lessman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I wavered back and forth between three and four stars. The main plot is predictable and familiar to the point of boredom with the sub plots doing very little to keep interest. That said, the writing is done quite well and is very well edited for content and flow. This makes for an easy read and should be quite appealing to most readers of the Historical Christian Romance genre. The characters all fit nicely in their places and while cookie-cutter types they are still fleshed out and offer a comfortable familiarity. The humor is well done and adds flavor and enjoyment to the read. The setting felt authentic and well researched. Overall it’s a good book and because of the writing it’s worth the fourth star.
I received an evaluation copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest opinion and review. In no way has this influenced our opinion.
