My son and I sat together in the big overstuffed reading chair to enjoy a few children’s books, this being one of them. When finished he looked at me and said “That’s just silly. Let’s not read that one again.” I have to agree. While the intention was cute and the drawings nicely done, the book just seems silly and not in a happy enjoyable way. I can not honestly recommend this one even for the very young. I received an evaluation copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest opinion and review. In no way has this influenced our opinion.
