Breaking Down the Walls: 50 Courageous & Successful Years at the Forefront of the Women’s Movement by Norma Yaeger
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
What seems to be a story about a great and courageous woman falls short of being factual several times. The writing was uneven and felt more like someone took a sentence they heard her say and with creative liberties expanded on it in order to write this book. With a little research readers would learn of other women who did more than just survive during this time period when all women were treated as lesser beings. While I don’t doubt she had a rough go at working in her selected job field, this book did not impress me. A free copy was provided by a publicist in exchange for an honest unbiased review.
