The Power of TwelveThe Power of Twelve by William Gladstone
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I thought I was going to enjoy this book when I got it, but instead I found myself checking frequently how many pages I had left to read. To me the dialogue and “jokes” were childish. There were too many issues with this book to enjoy it. Reading the synopsis gave the impression of a fascinating read but instead it’s rather flat. There is nothing to give the reader connection to the characters and very little, if any, development throughout the story. The plot has great potential but never pulls through. About half way through I gave up finding anything enjoyable about this book. The conversations feel forced, like a very bad actor. I couldn’t recommend this to anyone.
