Just One Evil Act by Elizabeth George
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Having never read any of the previous seventeen books I can’t compare this one to any of them, but I can say I really enjoyed reading this one. The characters are very well developed, fleshed out and have believable flaws. It’s easy to connect with them and think of them as real people. The plot has its ups and downs but that’s to be expected in such a lengthy novel. I think the slower parts were applicable to the situations and not a deterrent from the flow as a whole. The descriptions of people and places is very well done, making it easy to visualize as you read. I like that things are not predictable and that the characters not only suffered but reacted believably to the situations and events. Overall this is an excellent book and very well written.
I received a free copy of this book in digital format from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
