I enjoyed the story and characters and liked the setting and the idea of the plot. I wasn’t fond of the Star Wars theme and felt it could have been so much better using something created in the mind of the author. I’ve read several books with this setup so the idea isn’t original, but it was well written. As you read the book the references make sense and fit the plot but it just falls short for me. The second book in the series is much better and can be read without reading this one. The author shows potential and growth between the two books so I’d say keep an eye out for future releases.

I almost stopped when i got to the star wars parts, was not a fan of that at all, it did make sense in the end, but it ruined it for me too though.
