The Dalai Lama’s Cat by David Michie

The book starts out really cute as the kitten starts to tell her life story, but then it goes beyond any suspension of belief even for fantasy. Beyond that it becomes more of an explanation of Buddhism and less of a cat story. As a novel it falls short of being anything great but it’s not a terrible read. In fact it’s written well as far as form and grammar. Overall it’s an easy lighthearted read, just not what I’d reach for.
