I could not stick with this book after several attempts to finish it prior to writing a review. Unless you like every minute detail described about someone but practically nothing of substance delivered in scenes that should have had more details, and characters that are impossible to connect with, I wouldn’t recommend picking up this book. Download a sample before spending your money.
Normally I avoid reading other reviews of a book I’ve been asked to read & review to prevent any influence, but after disliking the book each time I tried to read it I had to know if it was just me missing something or if others felt the same way. 2.5 stars average on GoodReads by honest reviewers saying pretty much the same thing verified my opinion. It needs a lot of work, not on the idea for the plot, just with how it’s written.
