Dinner at Deviant’s Palace by Tim Powers

Intriguing blend of ideas that somehow work together to bring you a unique post-apocalyptic story. The characters are well thought out and make the novel an interesting read. There were a few slow downs throughout the plot but not too bad and in the end it was all good. While it was far from a great book, it wasn’t quite the quality of the extra star.
