This novel is a great read for those who enjoy this genre. Believable characters with layers, flaws and appropriate skill sets. It’s quite clear the author has considerable knowledge on the topic and has done a fine job intertwining plots, places and people. Intriguing and not watered down at all. A bit of a slow start but worthwhile to push through all the dry setup. Once it gets going it’s a real page turner that leaves enough at the end for another book in the series. Well done.
